Terms of use

For creators who use QuietDrop. Version 17 October 2026.

1. The service

QuietDrop, run by Sina Ramalho Claro (contact details in the Impressum), answers comments, DMs and story replies on your Instagram account with direct messages, only through Meta’s official Instagram API: no scraping, no unofficial access, no cold DMs. Features can change, and there is no guaranteed availability.

2. Your account

You sign in with an Instagram professional account you’re allowed to manage. You can stop at any time by deleting your data on the Account page or removing QuietDrop under Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.

3. How you may use it

  • Only send messages to people who commented on your posts, replied to or mentioned you in a story, or wrote to you, as QuietDrop is built to do. No cold DMs, no bulk messaging, no spam.
  • If you collect email addresses, say in the question what people get and that they join your list, and only send them what they agreed to.
  • No spam, misleading or illegal content, and no links to malware, scams or content that breaks Instagram’s rules.
  • Follow Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and Meta’s Platform Terms.
  • You are responsible for the messages, links and public replies you set up, and for telling your audience about automated replies in your own privacy notice where required.

4. Data protection

For data about people who comment on your posts, you are the controller and QuietDrop processes it on your behalf. The data processing agreement is part of these Terms. QuietDrop’s handling of your own account data is described in the privacy policy.

5. Pausing and ending access

QuietDrop may pause sending for an account or end access if these Terms are broken, if Instagram or Meta require it, or to protect the service or other creators. Where possible we tell you first. We may end the beta with reasonable notice.

6. Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown in the dashboard (people reached per month, live automations, a short “Sent with QuietDrop” line). The Creator plan removes them, as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time founding membership. Paid plans are sold by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; its terms apply to the purchase, and it issues the invoice. You can cancel a subscription any time under “Manage billing”; it then runs until the end of the paid period. Deleting your data in QuietDrop doesn’t cancel a subscription.

7. Liability

For the Free plan, QuietDrop is provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. Otherwise we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Instagram may change or restrict its API at any time; we are not liable for that.

8. Changes and law

We may change these Terms for future use and will tell you in the dashboard before they apply. German law applies.
